I started playing the guitar when I was 9 (or sometime around then), and I have never stopped making music since. For many years, mostly in high school, I took classical and jazz piano lessons alongside having a vocal coach.

My brothers gave me my first Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), FL Studio – when it was still called Fruity Loops – when I was a freshman in high school, which opened up to me the world of music production and drastically altered the direction of my life. I started out producing trance back when barely a soul in the States even knew electronic dance music existed – again thanks to my two incredible older brothers.

Their taste for underground dance music opened my eyes to the potential that this music, and the underground scene in general, held. I was inspired by the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Tiesto (when he still had the “DJ” in his title, and was still good…sorry I’m not sorry), Infected Mushroom, Paul Oakenfold, Kraftwerk, Cosmic Gate, Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, Safri Duo, and so much more.

Since then, I have written, produced, and performed music all over the musical spectrum. From hip-hop and rap to classical and show tunes; from singer-songwriter to house and techno; from ambient to punk rock, reggae, and ska – I love to make and listen to it all, no matter the flavor.

Currently, most of my musical efforts go into the productions of Seigyn. When I feel like it, or when a track doesn’t quite fit the bill for Seigyn, I’ll post it as myself.
